Welcome!

My name is Ryan Colley and I am a Social Studies teacher in southeastern Pennsylvania.  My wife Danielle and I were married in November 2016 and we just got back from our honeymoon in Hawaii!  We live in Chester County, Pennsylvania with our dog Kentucky (we call him "Tuck") and we are expecting our first child in December.  This coming fall will be my fifth year teaching Social Studies in the Upper Darby School District which is just west of Phildelphia.  I have always been interested in History and learning about different cultures around the world.  I look forward to practicing my blogging skills as well as learning "best practices" from my classmates this summer!  Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope you find the posts helpful in trying to figure out why things are the way they are!
